An Incredible Trip To Chiang Mai, Thailand

Image
Chiang Mai is a very adorable and charming city in Northern Thailand, surrounded by lush green mountains and dotted with ancient temples. We had a trip at Thailand in October 2019 and visited this lovely city. We narrated our journey in  Why we love Chiang Mai so much . This is just a photo journey of our trip. We stayed here only for two days, but I would like to recommend staying here for at least three to four days; it mainly depends on how much time you have on hand. There is a lot to explore and experience in this city. Here, I loved to walk, shop, eat, and visit beautiful temples. These pictures are from Silver Temple but mostly represent the beautiful culture of the city very well. On the first day, we covered the majority of the temples and a handicraft shop by tuktuk only. My first day's visit covers: Wat Sri Suphan (Silver Temple): The temple was originally built in the 16 th century, and it has been rebuilt and renovated over the different historical periods. The location was the Lal Bagh Botanical Garden in Bangalore. The rain in such a huge and beautiful garden was making the environs very romantic.  Trees , shrubs, flowering plants, greenery, and in between I could see lovebirds in the lovely drizzling weather. Walking around in such a nice place with fascinating surroundings was a really awesome and phenomenal experience. I visited a bed of small zinnia flowers, a tree fossil, one big white silk cotton tree, pruned trees in different shapes, and then I came to a big water storage body.  I was staring far through the water storage body, absorbed in such a lovely environment, and my engrossment was disrupted by so many noises. It was a small group of school children with their three teachers. In between, I'd like to mention that the department of horticulture of the state ha

I alighted from the train and went outside to find an Ola Taxi. It was extremely crowded, and I felt like I was in a different city than I had on previous visits. I am not a frequent traveller to Delhi but have visited 6-7 times only. From the taxi, I was observing and trying to ascertain the difference between today and my earlier visits. I then realised it was a purana Delhi. I saw so many cycle rickshaws for passengers and luggage, goods carriers, auto rickshaws, etc. unorganised at road sides; labourers and owners dealing with raw materials, traffic jams, etc. Then I was thinking about  purana   Ahmedabad.  Purana  Ahmedabad has almost the same situation. Purana  Delhi,  Purana  Ahmedabad or the old habitat of any big city, which anyone can differentiate easily as they all look more or less the same. Dealing with raw materials, labour work, and small businesses, etc. are all carried out in  Purana  city only
